Saltaire Festival is an annual event which lasts for 10 days. On the last Saturday of the Festival, a Charities Fair is held in the grounds of the United Reformed Church at the bottom of Victoria Road. For several years Headway Bradford has held a fundraising stall at this fair, and this year was no exception. Many local shops had donated quality items for us to use as tombola prizes and these, together with donations of items from members and other people, made our tombola a great success. Home baking and handcrafts were also on sale and a grand total of £500 was raised on the day. We also had an Information stall at the fair to raise awareness about brain injury by giving out leaflets and chatting to people.
Thank you to everyone who worked hard and contributed to make the event so successful.
